On the 3rd of this month, Eqdbt went to Poland with \'Suffocation\' again, this time to play at the National Theatre in Warsaw. A singular performance that was a sell out event marking the beginning of the National\'s 2007 repertuar and an introduction to Eqdbt for the capital (or vice versa, of course).
Presov in November was, as expected, a hurried affair, but a fantastic experience. The hospitality was second to none and the reception on the festival was tremendous. \'Suffocation\' opened the festival of \'Aesthetics and Theatre\' organised by the University of Presov on the Sunday evening in the main theatre of Presov.

document.writeln(' Centre under the Open Platform Scheme is quickly approaching (2nd Nov) where we we will be showing the latest incarnation of \'3\' - a version attempting to bridge the gap between alienation and engagement.

We also got confirmation of our involvement in a festival in Presov, Slovakia on the 12th of Nov. This will be a wild whistle-stop tour but immensely exciting as we take \'Suffocation\' across europe to yet another venue, country and culture.
We will up date this with information as soon as it becomes available.

document.writeln(' success of \'Suffocation\' in Poland this summer and the short but intense national media coverage received, Equaldoubt were invited to do further show cases, this September, in the Festival\'s home town of
Poznan. Eqdbt played in the same venue as on the Malta Festival ( in
\'Zamek\') and to sell out audiences for two nights only - September 20th and 21st.
Negotiations are still in the pipe line regarding a related festival appearance in Slovakia this autumn.

\'Suffocation\' (Dusznosc) receives prize at International Festival in Poland.
Equaldoubt will return to Wales with the
first prize on the \'DEBUT\' section of The
16th International Festival of Theatre Malta. The prize being 30,000 zls and an official invitation to take part in the festival next year in the Theatre section.
They were among a line-up of ten Polish companies (Eqdbt performed as Polo-British) making debut performances on the festival and fittingly showed \'Suffocation\' their debut performance from 2004. The pieces were judged by a panel of five headed by Prof.');
document.writeln(' Lech Sliwonik of the Warsaw Theatre Academy. The Debut section was made possible in association with the Zbigniew Raszewski Theatre Institute.
For the 1,500 or more spectators that attended the festival there was a chance to see more than 200 performances over the 9 days from the categories Debut, Theatre, Dance and Music as well as getting the chance to do workshops, attend lectures and see demonstrations.
At the closing ceremony of the festival, held on the bank of lake Malta, in front of the crowd gathered for the closing concert and national television, the winning Debut company was announced by the Director of the Festival Mr Michal Merczynski and awarded to Sean of Eqdbt by the Mayor of Poznan.

Equaldoubt are in Poland over the next three weeks performing on two seperate theatre festivals:
24th-25th June 2006
The third part in a trilogy of festivals in the old part of the city of Warsaw (east side of the Wistula) called Praga. Following the festivals of \'Objects\' and \'Sound\' now the building which used to be an Optical Factory is being filled with a');
document.writeln(' "Grand Theme Park of Theatre". Featuring multi-media artists from across Poland and some of the best \'off-theatre\' performances from Warsaw directors and companies.
Equaldoubt will be presenting an original piece of time-based work comissioned by the festival on both 24th and 25th June.
Malta International Theatre Festival (
